This is a unique hybrid opportunity for a DC X-ray–certified dental assistant who thrives in both clinical and patient-facing environments. The position is temporary with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Position Overview This dual-role position combines hands‑on clinical assistance with front‑office patient concierge responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities
Prepare patients for treatments and procedures, ensuring comfort and confidence
Set up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures
Assist the provider during endodontic treatments
Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with infection control protocols
Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well stocked
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (endodontic experience preferred)
Active DC Radiology (X-ray) Certification required
Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and professionalism
Patient Concierge / Front Office Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and serve as the first point of contact
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using Open Dental
Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and post payments
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and providers via phone, email, and in person
Educate patients on procedures, paperwork, and financing options
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Support an exceptional patient experience through empathy and professionalism
