CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH - Director of Nursing (RN) – Senior Living | New Jersey A well-established senior living community in New Jersey is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations, medication management, and regulatory compliance.

This is a senior clinical leadership role for a hands‑on RN who understands New Jersey assisted living regulations and thrives in a resident‑centered environment.

The Role The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall clinical direction of the community, ensuring high‑quality resident care while maintaining full compliance with NJ Department of Health regulations.

This role partners closely with the Executive Director and leadership team and plays a key role in survey readiness, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing and care services

Oversee medication administration and delegation in accordance with NJAC 8:36

Ensure continuous survey readiness and regulatory compliance

Lead, coach, and develop nursing and care team members

Conduct resident assessments, care planning, and acuity reviews

Serve as the clinical point of contact for families, providers, and external partners

Participate in on‑call rotation as required

Candidate Profile

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey

3–5+ years of nursing leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or long‑term care

Strong knowledge of NJ assisted living regulations and medication programs

Proven ability to lead teams, manage compliance, and improve care outcomes

Calm, confident leadership style with strong communication skills
