Advanced CNC Programmer
Location: Mobile, AL
Pay: $125,000/year
Type: Full‑time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Description
Program multi‑axis (5‑axis) CNC machines for complex parts and tooling.
Create CNC programs from blueprints, CAD files, and reverse‑engineered parts.
Optimize toolpaths, cutting‑tool selection, and feed/speed adjustments for machining efficiency.
Perform gear machining programming for spur, helical, worm, bevel, and spline gears.
Troubleshoot CNC machines and resolve programming discrepancies.
Interpret CAD files and technical drawings for accurate machine setups.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to refine machining processes.
Position Requirements
Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam or equivalent.
Solid understanding of tooling, setups, feeds, and speeds.
Strong knowledge of G‑code and CNC setup procedures.
Attention to detail for precision machining.
Problem‑solving and adaptability skills.
Prior hands‑on machining or setup experience highly valued.
Ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
