Senior Test Engineer with Security Clearance
TMC Technologies has recently been awarded a 5‑year contract providing subject matter, systems engineering, software development, and test & evaluation expertise to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's (NSWCDD) Warfare Systems Engineering and Integration (V) Department. We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team on this new opportunity.
While remote work is possible, all personnel will initially be expected to work on‑site in the Dahlgren area until performance is effectively established with the customer. Relocation assistance can be provided where applicable. A SECRET (or higher) security clearance is required. The start date for this position will be in late December 2025 or early January 2026.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Defining and reviewing Navy and USMC combat system requirements
Creating, modifying, and executing test plans, test procedures, and test scenarios
Generation of test observation reports, problem reports and test reports
Performing data collection / data extraction
Performing root‑cause analysis on command and control systems
Assessing the operational and technical impacts of problems identified
Defining and tracking test metrics
Working Knowledge
Interfacing systems such as Sensor Systems, Track Management Systems, Electronic Warfare, Self‑Defense Systems, displays, weapon systems and tactical data links to assess overall system and capability performance
Database airways, site data, and world threat library testing
Requirements database management tools
SharePoint, ClearQuest and collaboration tools
