Network Security Engineer

Cisco

Palo Alto

experience to design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions. This role includes network troubleshooting, hardware/software upgrades, security controls, network planning, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy network solutions across WAN/LAN/SD-WAN environments

Lead network troubleshooting and performance analysis

Implement upgrades, validate designs, and document network architectures

Design and manage security controls and vulnerability countermeasures

Support vendor management and provide professional technical documentation

Required Technical Skills

Cisco Routing & Switching, DMVPN, MPLS, IPsec, SD-WAN (Meraki)

Cisco/Aruba WLAN, Nexus, StackWise

Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime

Load balancers & WAN optimizers (F5, Citrix, Riverbed)

Cloud fundamentals (Azure/AWS)

Network monitoring (SolarWinds)

Network automation (Python, Ansible preferred)

Soft Skills

Strong communication, documentation, and presentation abilities
