Software Developer in Test
(Hybrid, Dallas, Texas – W2)

Job Description The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software solutions for client’s associates. Responsibilities include writing and maintaining application features and automated tests.
Pay & Benefits Hourly rate: $55–$60 W2. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and other voluntary benefits. W2 consultants are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package if regularly scheduled for 30+ hours per week.
Responsibilities
Active participation in the development process through writing and maintaining application features and automated tests, including unit, component, integration, functional, performance, scenario, and interoperability tests.
Support the team in creating reliable, portable, and accurate tests, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate on improving test coverage, release velocity, and production health.
Design and develop test automation for front-end applications and web services using Groovy/Geb and Java/HttpClient.
Participate in application code and test code reviews with the Scrum team.
Experience Requirements
4 to 9 years of experience testing and automating front‑end and web service applications.
Experience with SQL programming and data usage.
Proficiency with object‑oriented programming languages (Java, C#, Groovy, etc.), HTTP, RESTful web services, Jenkins, and Git.
Cloud application testing experience (AWS preferred).
Education Requirements A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
