About the Role Willow Wealth is looking for an investment professional to support the investment and monitoring of its rapidly growing portfolio of private markets funds, evergreen funds, secondary investments, and co-investments across the private equity, private credit, real assets, and real estate asset classes. This individual will be responsible for engaging with private market managers to source investments, lead due diligence and closing processes, support the preparation of offering materials for new investment offerings, and monitor the progress and performance of investments. Additionally, this role will provide support to internal teams, and education to Willow Wealth investors, as new types of investments are onboarded to the Willow Wealth platform.
Key Responsibilities
Source private markets fund, secondaries, and co-investment opportunities
Perform comprehensive due diligence on investment managers and their investment offerings
This due diligence process includes a review of the private markets managers, investment teams, investment strategies, historical track records, investment processes, and investment terms/alignment
Prepare comprehensive investment memos to be presented to Willow Wealth's Investment Committee
Engage with Operations, Legal, Finance, Investment Product Marketing, and Risk Management teams to review the fit of investment opportunities for Willow Wealth’s platform
Support Willow Wealth’s Investment Product Marketing team with the preparation of clear and relevant investment offering materials
Engage with private markets managers to regularly monitor the progression and performance of investments in the Willow Wealth portfolio
Present investment updates and portfolio management recommendations in quarterly portfolio review meetings
Prepare clear and concise investor updates and investment commentary and support Willow Wealth’s Investor Relations and Private Client Group teams with existing and prospective investor questions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. CFA or CAIA is a plus
7-10 years of investments experience and 3-5 years of experience as an allocator or multi-asset class direct investor
Experience working at a fund-of-funds, secondary fund, or investment consultant
Experience designing, building, and allocating capital across private markets focused portfolios
Familiarity with private market assets, as well as the trading of liquid alternative assets
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large amount of performance and risk data
Deal execution oriented with a readiness to roll up your sleeves and manage a process end-to-end

This is a New York-based role. The base salary range for this position is USD 210,000 to 230,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity compensation as part of the total compensation package.
