Job Overview The Value Account Manager (VAM) is responsible for managing the sales growth in their assigned portfolio of accounts. Through proficient customer relationship skills and fact-based selling, the Value Account Manager’s goal is to meet or exceed their annual business objectives and support the long-term growth of Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc in that portfolio of accounts. The role also is required to ensure the execution of the commercial strategy in the Value channel of business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Generate sales growth in the assigned account base through execution of commercial strategies.
Build and maintain profitable customer relationships.
Sell and order for customers within the Value channel of business.
Sell in incremental packages, displays, and equipment.
Ensure elements of the commercial plan are in place for the full duration of the program.
Ensure pricing and plan‑ograms are correct for all accounts.
Assist in cross‑merchandising point‑of‑sale elements.
Collaborate effectively with field sales, distribution, and small store merchandising roles.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
1 year(s) of previous sales experience preferred.
Food/beverage industry experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Excellent planning and organization skills.
Ability to use and understand mobile applications.
Ability to work a variable schedule, weekends and holidays required.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of work experience.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must have and maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by company.
Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Work Environment
In customer outlets daily.
