RN/LPN Day Shift – 7am to 7pm (Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000)
The Lodge at Mills River is a 50‑bed skilled nursing facility located in Mills River, North Carolina, between Asheville and Hendersonville. We are seeking a 12‑hour day shift RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our dedicated team of health‑care professionals.
Compensation & Benefits Sign‑on bonus of $5,000 paid out over time. Full‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation, medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
Responsibilities Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN or LPN will plan, coordinate, provide, and manage nursing care, services, and health education to residents. Responsibilities include:
Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care.
Provide safe and accurate medication‑related interventions to residents.
Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders.
Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents; notify the physician of changes in status and promptly document new orders.
Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident’s condition and prevent complications.
Supervise the care and services provided by CNAs and other staff.
Qualifications Applicant must have an unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
Current CPR certification required.
