Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Per Diem)
AristaCare Health Services is seeking an LPN for per diem shifts (Monday‑Thursday, 6 AM – 4 PM). The LPN directs and monitors the day‑to‑day function of room assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the MPMDC program.
Key responsibilities include:
The LPN directs and monitors the day‑to‑day function of the room assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the MPMDC program.
Insure that written policies and procedures are followed by all staff, licensed/non‑licensed personnel assigned in your activity room.
Cooperate with other team members when coordinating nursing services to ensure the participant’s total regimen of care is maintained.
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
Participate in surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
Present a positive image of the facility to all customers, such as job applicants, families, and the community.
Complete all educational courses assigned in Healthcare Academy.
Requirements:
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in the State of New Jersey.
At least one year of Pediatrics experience.
Early childhood development experience preferred.
