Schedule and Location Full‑time; Day shift (Monday‑Friday 8am‑4:30pm, with On‑Call Weekend Commitment Monthly/Quarterly). Coverage in Southern Johnson County, Kansas, with additional areas including Jackson, Platte, Clay, and Cass Counties in Missouri, and Leavenworth, Johnson, Wyandotte, Franklin, Douglas, and Miami Counties in Kansas.

Job Responsibilities
Provides patient education, medication administration, wound dressing changes, and ostomy care as directed by the RN and ordered by the physician.
Displays flexibility in accepting assignment changes and participates in weekend/after‑hours coverage and call rotation.
Reports pertinent observations to the attending physician and RN, and implements changes in the patient care plan as directed.
Communicates changes to the appropriate members of the home health care team.
Demonstrates effective communication skills with all team members, patients, and families.
Maintains clinical record information in accordance with established standards and within established time frames.
Provides direct patient care responsibilities for assigned patients in an efficient, organized manner under the direction of the RN.
Performs treatments within their scope of training and administers medications to assigned patients.
Assesses patients during clinical check‑in, documents pertinent medical information and vital signs, and assesses for signs of abuse or neglect using age‑specific guidelines.
Administers treatments, medications, and follow‑up assessments ordered by the provider, verifying as needed, and responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and triage situations.
Performs diagnostic and occupational medicine testing, including EKG, spirometry, audiometry, titmus, and pulse oximetry, and completes forensic testing collections in accordance with established guidelines.
Collects data specific to the age of the patient and contributes to their plan of care.
Receives, verifies, and implements physician orders, ensuring orders taken by the LPN are co‑signed by an RN.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
Technical/Vocational School (Required)
Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS)
RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Driver’s License (DL)
IV Certified (IV)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Pay Range $20.95 – $38.96
