About the Role The Treatment Nurse – LVN/RN at Red Oak Nursing & Rehab plays a critical role in delivering high‑quality nursing care to residents within a skilled nursing environment. The position focuses on administering treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are effectively implemented. Minimum Qualifications
Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in TX.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, treatment procedures, and medication administration.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long‑term care environment.
Additional certifications related to wound care, IV therapy, or geriatric nursing.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
Continuing education or specialized training in patient care management.
Responsibilities
Administer prescribed treatments and medications according to established protocols and physician orders.
Monitor and assess patients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to the supervising nurse or physician.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, medication management, and health maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, facility policies, and safety standards.
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring continuity of care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training as required.
