Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment, review images for quality and diagnostic utility
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate summary to physicians/health professionals, alert them to urgent problems
Prepare patients for procedures and educate them during the ultrasound exam
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, coordinate care with other departments
Qualifications
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
American Heart Association BLS and at least 2 years of recent relevant experience
Contract Details
$1,880 - $2,057 per week
Possibility of contract extension
