Job Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Qualifications
Minimum Training and Education: Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licensure: Registered nurse license by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors/outside in temperature extremes, from elevated areas, in confined/cramped spaces, kneeling, bending at waist, twisting at waist, squatting, pinching, gross motor activities with hands and fingers, firm and fine grasping, reaching overhead, repetitive motions of hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders, use of lower extremities for balance and coordination; lift and carry 50 lbs unassisted; lift/lower objects 50 lbs from/to floor or 36 in. from floor, 36‑in. to overhead 25 lbs; exert up to 50 lbs of force; maintain 20/40 vision; hearing acuity; deal effectively with stressful situations; work rotating shifts; overtime; latex safe environment; guard odor sensitivity; respirator use.
Compensation Hourly wage not disclosed. $30,000 Sign on Bonus.
