The Staffing Resource Office (SRO) offers 13–26-week seasonal assignments with stipend option. MILEAGE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT-MUST LIVE GREATER THAN 100 MILES FOR SEASONAL ELIGIBILITY.
Responsibilities
Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
Requirements
Registered Nurse license
BLS, ACLS, PALS
2 year's RN Acute Care experience within Peds ICU or Peds Cardiac ICU
Associates Degree in Nursing
Facility BayCare Health System, Pedi Cardiac Critical Care-SJCH
Location St Joseph's Main and Children's
Status Pool, Exempt: No
Shift Hours 6:45pm - 7:15am & 645am-715pm (rotating day/night to help fill the need for whatever the unit staffing requires)
Weekend Work Every Other
On Call Yes
