Job Description
Administers nursing care within scope of practice under the direction of registered nurses and physicians, including administering oxygen, applying sterile dressings, inserting catheters, re‑inserting gastrostomy tubes, suctioning, irrigating wounds, giving enemas, collecting specimens, performing dialysis treatments, operating hemodialysis equipment, and monitoring patients during procedures.
Assists physicians with physical exams, treatments, and laboratory tests, and responds to emergencies with first‑aid, CPR, or restraining patients.
Administers controlled and non‑controlled medications via oral, rectal, topical, or injectable methods, and provides medication instructions to patients.
Maintains medication accountability records, charts patient records, prepares medication, and manages medication stock, equipment, and supplies.
Observes, documents, and reports patient conditions, including reactions, treatment responses, behavior, and progress, and prepares related reports and records.
Provides general nursing care, including taking vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, administering topical treatments, repositioning patients, responding to alarms, and making medical appointments.
Assists lower‑level staff with unskilled nursing care and participates in meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary team activities.
Critical Information
Shift: 6:15 am – 7:30 pm; schedule includes working any day of the week with 3 days on and 4 days off, including weekends and Saturdays and Sundays; hours/shifts may change based on facility needs.
Hybrid remote/on‑site work environment may be applicable; compliance with screening, security protocols, and submission of required documentation is mandatory.
Submissions must include: Resume, Cover Letter, BLS/CPR certification, Ohio Medical License, US Passport or Naturalization Card, TB test, HireRight drug screen; screening must be initiated within 48 hours of accepting position.
No cell phones permitted until approved; facility requires metal detector clearance; food/drinks in see‑through containers; limited water intake allowed.
Education/Licenses Needed

BLS/CPR certification
Valid US Passport or Naturalization Card if born outside the US
