Psychologists at SARRC focus primarily on conducting clinical diagnostic, psychometric, and behavioral testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with individuals of all ages, with opportunities to explore other areas of research, supervision, training, and intervention based on experience and availability. What You'll Do
Develop proficiency with diagnostic procedures for ASD
Support large-scale research projects investigating ASD
Conduct standardized interviews with parents as well as communicate results and provide clinical guidance and recommendations for treatment
Prepare reports for parents, participating pediatricians, and medical records
Participate in weekly department meetings and/or ongoing training
Additional responsibilities based on experience and available opportunities, including research and clinical supervision
Who You Are
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and interest in ASD
Must be licensed in Arizona or clearly on track for Arizona Clinical Licensure (have license within 3 months of hire).
Interest in diagnostic interviewing, performing psychological assessment, and provide a diagnosis based on test scores and observation.
Experience preparing reports for parents, medical personnel, and medical records.
Ability to effectively engage in one to one communication with parents and clients of all ages
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
