Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity North Las Vegas, NV (School-Based, Travel)
Provide speech and language therapy services to students across multiple school locations in the North Las Vegas area. The role involves travel between schools, allowing for a dynamic schedule and varied work environments within the K-12 educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy techniques accordingly.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
Manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining compliance with school district policies.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or certification for Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience providing therapy services in school settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and educational staff.
Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites within North Las Vegas.
Knowledge of current speech-language pathology best practices and educational regulations.
Location and Travel Based in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Travel between various school locations within the region is required to deliver services.
