Responsibilities
Create and edit legal documents to client specifications.
Transcribe tapes, scan, clean and convert documents to/from different file formats.
Recover/restore corrupted document files.
Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
Use document comparison software, red‑lining, and general editing to correct legal documents.
Create complex formulas and functions to analyze data.
Produce spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, presentations, and other documents as requested.
Intake work requests from the client, clarify job instructions, negotiate deadlines, and prioritize requests.
Qualifications
Associate degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a legal document production environment preferred.
Expert knowledge of MS Excel and advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PPT).
Advanced formatting skills, generating tables of contents and tables of authorities.
Strong keyboarding and typing skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment and independently.
Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
Able to apply intermediate requisite knowledge of appropriate grammar, spelling, composition.
Benefits & Compensation The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $17.34 – $19.30 per hour. Pay decisions are based on education, qualifications, experience, and other business needs. The total compensation package may include overtime, shift differential, call‑in, and/or standby pay.
