Base pay range $110,476.00/yr - $179,524.00/yr

What you will be doing:

Work with Engineering Design to develop innovative and practical balancing solutions for complex components, sub-assemblies and engine assemblies.

Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop appropriate methods for incorporation into Assembly Instructions.

Work with tool designers and external vendors to define tooling, fixtures and machines required to perform balancing operations for current and future assemblies in Indianapolis.

Participate in capital improvement projects procuring new equipment and tooling.

Improve your technical skills through internal and external training.

Participate in product verification audits.

Domestic and international travel – approximately 10%.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience in dynamics, design or manufacturing disciplines; OR

Masters Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in dynamics, design or manufacturing disciplines;

You must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Requirements:

Demonstrated team leadership skills

Theoretical understanding of static and dynamic balancing techniques

Experience in the design, development and production of aerospace components and assemblies.

Experience using PFMEA for process design and improvement activities

Experience using PLM/NX for data and document management and Solid Modelling

Experience using Schenk balancing equipment.

Advanced understanding of static and dynamic balancing techniques
