Responsibilities

Participate in and lead fit sessions, providing detailed fit comments and recommendations for pattern and construction adjustments

Measure samples for accuracy, review pattern balance and proportion, and ensure alignment with brand fit standards

Prepare and maintain detailed tech packs, including measurement specs, construction details, and fit comments

Partner with Design to ensure the original aesthetic vision is achieved while maintaining production feasibility and cost effectiveness

Communicate daily with overseas offices and vendor partners to resolve fit, pattern, and construction issues promptly.

Track sample progress, manage approvals, and ensure adherence to the Product Lifecycle Calendar and key development deadlines

Maintain consistency across the Sleepwear category through the application of standard blocks, grade rules, and fit intent.

Support continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline technical and communication workflows

Stay current on fabric performance, sleepwear materials (including brushed knits, wovens, and stretch fabrics), and construction techniques relevant to comfort and durability

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or a related field

5–7 years of technical design experience in women’s or men’s sleepwear, intimates, or soft apparel required

Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric performance, patternmaking, and grading

Proven ability to fit on live models and provide clear, actionable direction to patternmakers and vendors

Proficiency in PLM systems, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and global partners

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadline
