Program Quality Engineer The Program Quality Engineer will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Quality Program in Titusville, Florida. This opportunity, as the Quality Assurance Representative/Engineer, will be responsible for supervising overall implementation, maintenance, and compliance to quality requirements. You will also investigate Quality related support activities and supporting quality decisions associated with the effective implementation, operation, and assessment of Quality data. This role requires strong analytical skills and detail oriented. The role of the QPM is to implement the program’s Quality plan and lead the Quality team ensuring compliance to industry standards, contractual requirements and customer expectations. QPM serves as a single focal point for Quality & Mission Success (Customer, Program Management, Functions). They lead the Quality Program Team – all aspects including Hardware Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Production Operations Quality – through all areas of the program / product lifecycle. QPM ensures communication and flow down of requirements to internal teams and external supply base. QPM may supplement Quality team surveillance as required. The QPM is responsible to develop and manage the Quality financial scope. QPM analyzes quality performance data (manufacturing data, engineering design metrics), identifies recurring issues, drives root cause analysis and corrective actions, and raises quality performance issues to senior leadership, as needed. In a typical week, a QPM:

Ensures Quality Engineering, Inspection and Auditor resources are in place to support surveillance activity and upcoming deliverables

Flows Program and Quality related information to Quality Program Team (QPT)

Reviews Quality data for trends (favorable or unfavorable) and performs root cause analysis as needed

Communicates with DCMA and end-contract customers regarding upcoming joint customer events

Collaborates with Engineering & Technology, Production Operations regarding process questions or changes.

Provides Quality activity progress update and accomplishments in support of business rhythm.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s or higher level degree from an accredited college in any related discipline in an Engineering, Business, or Supply chain or any other related area

Quality experience or related/ equivalent experience in a test or production environment.

Experience with quality, systems or manufacturing engineering processes or hardware engineering processes or policies or quality systems management or anything else related.

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills

Experience directly engaging with customers.

Strong Customer Relationship Management.

Knowledge of SAP.

MS Office.

Manufacturing Engineering/Production Operations.

Familiarity with manufacturing or production documentation and failure reporting.

Root Cause and Corrective Action facilitation

Experience

Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Currently active Secret clearance

Previous experience in manufacturing and/or quality including inspection, testing, and certification of products.

Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay or SAP, EPDM, PMPDB, and other Lockheed tools that house engineering requirements.

Familiarity with reading Program Quality Requirements Checklists, Quality Codes, and QCode Matrices.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
