Diesel Mechanic
in Epsom, NH. In this full‑time role you will perform complex repair and maintenance on large commercial diesel vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Pay Range : $26.00/hr – $32.00/hr (actual pay based on skills, experience and successful completion of background checks)
Job Type : Full-Time
Schedule : Monday–Friday
Location : Epsom, NH
Hours : 40 per week (opportunity for overtime)
Perform thorough, accurate preventative maintenance inspections.
Complete all required maintenance operations, including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation, following schedules.
Conduct unscheduled maintenance as directed by the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
Perform complex operations such as engine, electrical, fuel, brake and exhaust repairs and field tests, interpreting drawings, specifications and other technical materials.
Execute emergency roadside services as needed.
Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical defects.
Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately.
Maintain tools and workplaces to ensure conditions are neat and orderly.
Perform other duties as required, including on‑call service calls, extended hours or weekend work flexibility.
Occasionally drive vans, buses or other vehicles to conduct road tests.
2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or general mechanic.
Accreditation from a school or certification program (preferred).
Completion of all required training.
Pass pre‑employment background checks.
