Maintenance Mechanic - Weekend AM – 12 hour

Position We are looking for Machine Operators (Maintenance Mechanic) to produce world‑class tube products for HTC using safe machine‑operating techniques and effective lean manufacturing principles. Machine Operators use various equipment and processes to convert steel coils into a more workable form, clean the coils, convert them into the desired diameter and length using continuous or semi‑continuous production lengthening equipment, and cut the coils and prepare them for shipment based on customer needs. The role requires strong attention to detail and precision. Reporting to a Shift Supervisor, the operators must be team players and committed to delivering only the best quality to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Promote safety as the number one priority of all HTC employees.
Report to the Maintenance Manager.
Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
Perform emergency / breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature.
Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.
Accurately use measurement and test equipment.
Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed.
Adhere to all Lock‑out Tag‑out procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, and clean up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records, troubleshoot and solve problems.
Maintain teamwork with other associates.
Keep supervision informed of problems and/or unusual situations.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Troubleshooting abilities with PLCs is a plus. (Automation Direct preferred)
