ABOUT THE ROLE Due to strong growth, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Wealth Management Advisor to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are looking to grow toward a lead advisor position, providing crucial support to our Private Wealth Advisors and ensuring exceptional client service. The Associate Wealth Management Advisor will prepare for and participate in client meetings, manage follow‑up actions, and assist clients with operational aspects of their wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting Preparation
Conduct comprehensive preparation for client meetings, including data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, and plan development.
Prepare presentation materials and ensure all documentation is complete and reflects the client’s financial situation and objectives.
Attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and supporting the lead advisor in discussions.
Serve as a second chair in meetings, focusing on capturing key points and action items without providing direct advice.
Client Communication & Service
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing communication and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
Gather necessary data from clients, such as statements and required documentation, and expedite requests related to eSignatures and other formalities.
Action Item Execution
Send follow‑up emails summarizing meeting discussions and outlining next steps for clients.
Execute and oversee action items from meetings, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely completion.
Maintain responsibility for the urgency and execution of client‑related tasks, even when coordinating with operations teams.
Client Relationship Management
Determine and manage appropriate client segmentation and meeting schedules, ensuring they align with client life stages and needs.
Regularly review and update client segments in the CRM to inform marketing strategies and meeting rhythms.
Work closely with risk and wealth teams to manage complex client situations, ensuring a seamless handoff and clear communication of case details.
Maintain continuous improvement of client service processes, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree ideally in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Two years experience in a financial planning, insurance, investment management or private banking role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Experience with financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
