Position Summary Server Assistant – assist servers with delivering food to guests, responding to their requests, and clearing tables.
Responsibilities
Clear dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
Carry dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
Prepare tables for arriving patrons by wiping spills, clearing crumbs, replacing soiled linen, and setting up tableware, napkins, and condiments.
Deliver food to tables.
Respond to patrons’ requests and inform management of any complaints.
Arrange tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of patrons.
Ensure that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to communicate with front‑of‑house staff.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Repeated bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
