What You’ll Be Doing Under the general guidance from the Billing Supervisor and Central Services Manager, the Billing Specialist will process technician data for tech payroll/billing and materials for local service manager approval and final invoice processing. The Billing Specialist position is the key quality check point within the company, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Min Compensation USD $16.00/Hr.

Max Compensation USD $22.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

Verify/enter transactions into system

Verify accuracy of tech entered transactions

Prepare invoices to be submitted to the customers.

Submit prepared invoices for service manager approval

Monitor work order status from for prompt processing

Ensure all work is completed accurately in compliance with client specifications and company policies

Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

Demonstrated stable and successful work experience in billing/and or customer service

Extreme attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent computer proficiency

Excellent ability to learn software

50+WPM typing

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and goals

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer proficiency

Proficient in Microsoft office and Excel

Organized detailed and self-motivated

Ability to multi-task and problem solve

Works well in a team environment as well as independently

Must demonstrate organization and prioritization skills to manage time

Must be able to work overtime, as needed

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree highly preferred.

Prior Billing-related experience preferred.

Experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred

Physical Requirements

Continuously able to work in office environment

Able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
