Guardian Glass is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!
As a key member of our finance organization, you will drive the integrity and accuracy of our corporate financial operations, provide strategic insight, and lead process improvements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing accounting accuracy, while leading process improvements, within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What You Will Do
Take ownership of key accounting activities-applying critical thinking to drive accuracy and efficiency in reconciliations, month-end close processes, and collaborative support that strengthens the overall performance of the accounting team
Oversee and validate financial data imports in OneStream and other platforms, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
Act as a strategic partner for cross-functional teams by providing accounting support and knowledge sharing
Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement of accounting processes that impact reporting and support business initiatives.
Prepare and review audit documentation and serve as a contact for internal and external auditors
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment
Demonstrated understanding in journal entry preparation, General Ledger processes, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences
What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelor's degree or CPA/CMA
Extensive experience in one or more of the following: key Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables), Power BI, or OneStream
Experience implementing process improvements and leveraging automation tools in accounting operations
Knowledge of global currency and accounting processes
