Job Summary The RN Pre‑op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient‑family centered care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre‑op/PACU supports the perioperative services for all patient populations and reports to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.
Responsibilities
Provide quality patient care in the perioperative setting.
Implement nursing process and medical plan of care.
Deliver patient‑family centered care for all patient populations.
Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Report to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in Tennessee.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
1–3 years of Pre‑OP/PACU experience (strong preference for ambulatory surgical center experience).
Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
