Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Treat patients, address questions, and educate them on injuries, progress, and long‑term wellness strategies.
Supervise Techs during modalities (for all federal payers and non‑BCBSM patients) and assist with setup and cleanup.
Complete accurate, timely documentation for daily notes and discharges.
Maintain productivity expectations (60 treatments in a 40‑hour week in an outpatient ortho setting).
Assist in developing and refining treatment protocols.
Participate in clinic research studies.
Continue to grow professionally through CEUs and approved coursework.
Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant.
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
