Radiology Technologist Job Details
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa (52402) – Iowa healthcare job
Facility: Hospital Electrophysiology Unit
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
Shift: 4x9 hour day shifts per week, starting at 7:30am (36 hours/week)
Employment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist Contract
On-Call/Weekend: No call, no weekends required
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2350–$2530
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Electrophysiology (EP) experience in a hospital or medical center
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification required
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred
Proven experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management (CRM), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) procedures
Proficiency in operating Siemens imaging equipment
Previous travel healthcare job experience preferred
Completed skills checklist within 1 year of application
Active license verification and required certifications
Professional references preferred
Proof of taxable address (driver’s license, utility bill, lease, etc.)
Responsibilities
Assist in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including cardiac ablation, CRM, and LAAO
Operate and maintain Siemens radiology and imaging equipment for cardiac procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high‑quality patient care
Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system
Maintain a safe, sterile environment during all clinical procedures
Support patient education and comfort throughout the care process
