Description Overview
To ensure the Quality and Compliance of raw materials and products by overseeing daily laboratory activities including testing, scheduling, and laboratory documentation relative to the support of Perrigo operations and manufacturing needs.
Please note: This is a 2nd shift position working from Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Scope of the Role
Provides support and oversight of all laboratory activities.
Initiates, completes, and monitors laboratory investigations to their closure.
Conducts training for technicians and participates in necessary training to perform job functions.
Leads and participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Participates in internal/external audits and monitoring of lab quality control systems.
Performs analytical benchwork as required.
Demonstrates professional conduct reflecting Perrigo’s Core Values of respect, integrity, and responsibility.
Experience Required
Ability to perform and troubleshoot analytical methods.
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
Experience with method validation, including drafting and executing laboratory validation protocols and preparing validation summary reports (highly desired).
Experience with product deviation investigations, including drafting product deviation reports (highly desired).
Previous supervisory experience (highly desired).
A bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
Minimum of 2 years in the field.
