Job Details Employment type: Full Time. Department: Medical / Surgical / Telemetry. Hours/Pay Period: 72. Remote: No. Category: Staff Nurse. Travel: No. Weekly Schedule: 7am to 7pm. Shift: Day. Compensation range: $33.00 – $52.80 /hour. Requisition ID: 2025‑433104.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Provide care to 4‑6 patients per shift.
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging.
Unit also cares for med/surg telemetry patients. Nursing surgical floor (not OR): abdominal surgery including bariatrics.
Unit has 30 beds.
RN to patient ratio 1:5.
Qualifications
Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university program.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire.
At least one (1) year of RN experience.
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
