Responsibilities
Perform various production and service activities related to the setup and operation of the coating line by following written procedures and instructions.
Perform and document all necessary testing of raw materials.
Communicate production issues to the Extrusion Coating Operator.
Communicate quality-related decisions for the next operation using defective material identification and flagging systems.
Enter time and quantity information into the computer system.
Move raw materials and finished products as needed.
Provide essential communication during shift change.
Perform required preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Web handling fundamentals.
Beginner level computer skills
High school math skills
Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.
The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
English language verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands for handling tools and equipment.
Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required, including close vision and ability to adjust focus.'
