Our busy fitness studio is looking for an energetic fitness sales assistant with great customer service skills. You should be enthusiastic about health and fitness and flourish in a setting that encourages you to achieve personal and team objectives. Our ideal applicant has a year of sales experience and can jump in and familiarize yourself with our health programs and workout equipment. You’ll need to prospect for customers by using methods like telemarketing, cold calling, walk-ins, and member referrals. Responsibilities
Welcome visitors and members to the studio, answer phones and assist the front desk with various administrative tasks
Retain long-term clients and expand the studio’s member base through sales, onboarding new members, and providing great customer service
Handle members’ issues professionally and objectively, to resolve them through exceptional customer service
Acquire leads by contacting, messaging, or emailing new potential members by engaging with them at local events or studio walk-ins
Organize and manage promotion initiatives both inside and outside the studio
Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing potential members, and chatting with them at local events or during club walk-ins
Greet members and guests at the club, answer phones, and assist the front desk with various tasks
Maintain long-term clientele and grow the club’s membership base through sales, new member onboarding, and excellent customer service
Supervise and manage club-wide and external promotion campaigns
Resolve member concerns professionally and respectfully to address them through excellent customer service
Qualifications
1 year of experience in sales or a similar role is highly desired
Outstanding organizational skills and time management
Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required
Possess excellent computer skills, especially MS Office – Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
