Description
WestVet, a MedVet partner, is a fast‑growing Emergency and Specialty provider nationwide. We help patients receive advanced medical treatments and innovations, including chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology, and more. We are seeking collaborative and driven people to join our clinical team.
Responsibilities
Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, maintain medical records, invoicing, and patient discharges.
Fill medications, enter charges, and maintain accurate medical records; schedule appointments.
Create patient releases and navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations.
Prep patients for surgery, including shaving, scrubbing, positioning, and assist with intubation and radiographs.
Proficiently perform blood draws and submit bloodwork.
Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Open, turn over, and clean operating rooms, clean instruments, and wrap packs.
Qualifications
State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred.
Prior veterinary experience required; previous surgery experience desired.
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
