We areseeking an experienced Locums Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant to support a Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU team at a Level II Trauma Centerin Redding, California. The provider will manage critically ill patientsfollowing emergency brain, neck, and spine surgeries, with a strong emphasis onneuro-trauma and neuro-critical care.
Compensation $130 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift:
7:00 AM – 5:00PM
Shift Length:
10 hours
No call required
Key Responsibilities
Manage neurosurgical and traumaICU patients post-emergency brain, neck, and spine procedures
Provide critical care forneuro-trauma and neuro-critical care patients
Perform daily ICU rounds, patientassessments, and care coordination
Collaborate closely withneurosurgeons, trauma surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff
Ensure accurate and timelyclinical documentation
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANPcertified) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA certified)
Active California license
Neuro-trauma and/orneuro-critical care experience required
Current ACLS, ATLS, and DEA
