Position Summary The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient / family centered care. Essential Functions and Responsibilities : Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient. Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs. Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs. Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions. Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development.
Submission Requirements 2+ Year of ER - Required TNCC - Required Health

A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
Michigan license verification is required for nurses.

Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

About the Facility McLaren Macomb is a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital located in Mount Clemens, Michigan. McLaren Macomb provides a full range of services, including cardiovascular care at the Mat Gaberty Heart Center, award winning cancer services at the Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center, comprehensive orthopedic services and a state-of-the-art elective Surgery Center. The hospital is verified as a Level II Trauma Center and operates one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area. Dress Code: Navy Blue.
Further McLaren Specifics Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40 / hr.
OT / Holiday / Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
Extension Discount: $1 / hr on the initial extension. McLaren's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 10%. Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
