Job Description Completes nutrition‑focused physical assessments, takes measurements, reviews medical records, collects data via interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status. Evaluates assessment data to identify nutrition risks, nutrition problems, criteria consistent with malnutrition, knowledge deficits, and high‑risk health behaviors. Offers nutrition interventions, orders, education, counseling, and referrals to other services. May place feeding tubes or perform indirect calorimetry studies. Provides counseling and education using evidence‑based techniques that reflect appropriate health literacy and cultural sensitivity to patients with disease processes requiring nutritional management. Monitors and evaluates nutrition care plans to reach nutrition goals and promote optimal outcomes. Supervises practice experience for dietetic interns, dietetic technicians, registration‑eligible dietitians and new employees, participates in research, performance improvement, and initiatives. Enters complete, accurate, and timely electronic health record documentation. Enters nutrition orders when authorized by Medical Staff policy and procedure to reflect patient care. Participates in patient care rounds, collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to create nutrition plans of care. Promotes evidence‑based nutrition care and makes expertise available to foodservice areas. Provides timely responses to internal electronic communication. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Bachelor's (Required), Master's (Required) Certified Dietitian (CD) - Accredited Issuing Body Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Licensed Dietitian (LD) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $23.71 - $44.09
