Radiology Technologist – Intraoperative

Location:
Banner Boswell Center , 10401 W Thunderbird, Sun City, AZ 85351.
Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Clinic hours are 24 hr / 7 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare for surgical procedures by setting up the imaging cart, verifying equipment functionality, and communicating special imaging needs with the OR team.
Educate patients and families regarding the procedure and maintain professional conduct and teamwork.
Perform prescribed radiographic procedures following ARRT, MRTBE, and hospital protocols, ensuring aseptic technique and universal precautions.
Operate specialty equipment (Hybrid OR, O‑Arm, C‑Arms, Mini C‑Arms, Flat plates) and maintain infection prevention standards.
Produce high‑quality images, present them with relevant patient information, and prepare accurate documentation for timely interpretation.
Conduct equipment quality‑control measurements, troubleshoot issues, and notify appropriate personnel to minimize impact on the surgical schedule.
Maintain a safe environment, adhere to radiation safety policies, and educate physicians, residents, and students on radiation safety and dosimetry.
Uphold ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities, including confidentiality of all work information.
Assist in the education and onboarding of new intra‑operative technologists.
Minimum Qualifications
CERTIFICATE or DIPLOMA from an approved/accredited radiologic technology program.
National certification by ARRT and state licensure (if applicable).
Required BLS certification.
Typical clinical knowledge achieved with approximately two years of related experience.
Effective communication, human relations, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional related education and/or experience.
