Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. Job Summary:
Assisting individuals recovering from addiction or mental health challenges by providing specialized clinical services. This position reports to a Clinical Director. Provides clinical services such as individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis interventionservicestoLighthouseclientswithinthescopeofpracticeandasprivilegedbythesupervisor. Completesthecrisisandsafetyplan,treatmentplan,servicenotes,transitionanddischargeplan,forms, and miscellaneous job‑related reports about a person served in thetime framerequired by the center, accreditation and certification bodies, respective professional licensing boards, and funding sources. MaintainsanaccurateandcompleteclinicalrecordforeachclientservedunderQualityImprovement and billing standards. Respondstorequestsforclinicalinformationonclientsservedasallowedbylawandapplicablerules and regulations. Verbal and written communications of Protected Health Information (PHI) mustcomply with42 CFR Part 2, mental health laws, and HIPAA. The Counselor sharesonly information within the scope of practice and professional licensing standards. Keepsabreastofcommunityresources,educatesclientsaboutthoseresources,andmakesappropriate referralsas needed to meet client needs. Activates Case Management or CPST Services as medically necessary to help remove barriers to recovery (e.g., problems with finance/poverty, living arrangements/housing, occupation, skill‑building/education, and support system). Collaboratesandcoordinateswithotherserviceprovidersinvolvedinclientcareinthecommunityto promote integrated and holistic care. Respondstocommunityprofessionalsin a timely manner, aftercontactingLighthousestaff. Promotesprogressivepro-socialinterventions(e.g.,clientconnectednessinthecommunity,involvement inasafeandsupportiveenvironment,participationinactivitieswheretheclientfindssocialacceptance), and positive reinforcement strategies. Person-centered,strength-based,andculturallysensitiveapproachwhenpromotingclientengagementin the community. Requirements: Activelicense(LCDC II/LCDC III/ LSW/LPC/LICDC/LISW/LPCC) Schedule:
