Travel Sonographer | Austin, TX | 4-6 wk Assignment

We’re excited to invite an experienced MFM Sonographer to join our Travel Team and support clinic sites in the Austin metro area. What You’ll Do:
Perform sonographic procedures
Travel to multiple healthcare sites within the assigned region (may include extended commute times)
Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
Communicate sonographic findings to physician
Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experienceKnowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
Bonus Points if You Have:
Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
Risk of Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
