Manufacturing Technician II
Medina, NY
Monday – Thursday: 5:30 am – 4:00 pm (Mandatory OT on Fridays occasionally)
$22.65 per hour
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to perform assembly, repair, and troubleshooting of medical device components in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), and the ability to work independently while meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical or electrical repair and demonstrate strong teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
Follow established procedures to repair and restore pumps to original specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot various pump components and perform limited technical aspects of repair and production processes.
Use hand tools to assemble or disassemble medical devices and manipulate small parts accurately.
Complete all required documentation for quality compliance.
Read and follow written work instructions, including deviations when necessary.
Maintain a clean and compliant work area in accordance with FDA regulations.
Job Requirements
Ability to identify small electronic components and differentiate markings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to visually inspect for particulate matter and color distinctions.
Ability to handle production demands and work effectively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills and ability to transcribe data accurately.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations manually.
Ability to read and write English proficiently.
Good judgment, positive attitude, and high level of initiative.
Willingness to learn production and repair assembly procedures and drawings.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment to meet daily targets.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Work Experience
Preferred experience in mechanical or electrical repair in a manufacturing setting.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for most of the workday.
Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs from floor to shoulder and lift 2 lbs overhead.
Ability to push and pull up to 6 lbs of force.
Additional Job Details
Work Environment: FDA‑regulated manufacturing environment with temperature and humidity controls.
Must wear static protective smock and grounded wrist strap while working.
Work in close proximity to other employees.
