Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fitters / Welders for projects located in and around Olean, NY. This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience plus $125/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Fit and weld steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings
Perform FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) using 1/8″ wire and SMAW (Stick Welding) using 7018 rod
Complete test position 14F in compliance with AWS D1.5 standards
Tack and fit materials accurately and safely
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area
Requirements:
Must be able to certify to AWS D1.5
Prior bridge welding experience strongly preferred
Must be capable of fitting and tacking from blueprints
Reliable transportation required
Standard PPE required (welding hood, gloves, safety gear)
