Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic in Waverly, NE.
We are seeking a motivated individual to work on a variety of diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, generators, and heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines and their associated components.
Conduct thorough inspections of diesel-powered equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on diesel engines.
Perform in‑depth mechanical repairs with a focus on Ford Power Stroke light‑duty trucks.
Qualifications
Previous experience working as a Diesel Mechanic.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for diesel engines.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Own set of tools required for the position.
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage depending on experience ($24–$28 starting).
Reviews and raises starting at 45, 90, 180, and 365 days.
Christmas and year‑end bonuses.
Health, dental, and vision insurance offered at discounted company rates.
401(k) with a 25% company match.
Holiday and vacation pay after 1 year of full‑time employment.
