Otterbein has an opening for a Maintenance Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the
Maintenance Coordinator
is to assist in all phases of maintenance and grounds keeping tasks throughout the Otterbein Neighborhood. This includes completing assigned jobs related to painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, moving furniture, mechanical and other general repairs.
This is a full-time position, primarily Monday-Friday, with after hours, weekend, and holiday emergency on-call.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.
Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
Assists with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed.
Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
Assists with the on-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.
Assists with grounds keeping, weeding, mulching, and snow-removal.
Ensures completion of and maintains documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing, fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Experience:
General Maintenance - Electrical, Plumbing and Carpentry Experience, Mechanical Experience on H.V.A.C., Mowers and Vehicles.
