Job Title: Working Foreman – Civil/Heavy Construction
Location: Buffalo, Wyoming Company: WyoDak Energy Services Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary WyoDak Energy Services is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead field crews on civil/heavy construction projects while actively working alongside the team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can balance productivity, safety, and quality while coordinating daily work activities in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and motivate field crews while performing hands‑on construction work
Plan and execute daily work activities in coordination with the Superintendent and Project Manager
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and work orders
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications
Enforce company safety policies and conduct daily safety meetings
Monitor crew productivity, equipment use, and material needs
Train and mentor crew members, including new hires
Communicate job progress, challenges, and manpower needs to management
Maintain jobsite organization, housekeeping, and professionalism
Required Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience in civil/heavy construction
Prior experience leading crews as a foreman or lead operator
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices (earthwork, utilities, grading, concrete, or related scopes)
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Solid understanding of jobsite safety requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
CDL (or ability to obtain)
Equipment operation experience (excavator, dozer, loader, skid steer, etc.)
Experience coordinating subcontractors or multiple crews
