Position Overview Loenbro is looking for Journeyman Electricians in the Fort Collins, CO and Loveland, CO area. The
Electrical Journeyman
is responsible for installing high-quality electrical field work and taking measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency. The position reports directly to the field foreman.
Job Duties
Build your own skills by training apprentices to be the best in the business
Work on a wide range of projects like data centers, water processing plants, casinos, resi-mercial high rises, pharmaceutical plants, and many others
Maintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industry while you lay out and organize tasks for apprentices, use formulas to determine pipe fill, device and panel size, plan and handle materials required for the job, and many other tasks
Skills/Qualifications
Have a minimum of 4 years documented field work or completion of a 4-year electrical apprentice program
Have an excellent understanding of the electrical industry
Enjoy being part of a team, providing leadership, and producing high quality electrical workmanship
Be highly curious and motivated to continue your education and professional development
Be willing to travel to a variety of job sites within a 50-mile radius
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Outside most of the time.
Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
Limited working surfaces
Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
Exposure to areas with limited visibility
Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day, standing
Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
Use of respirator if position requires.
Driving if required to travel.
