Job Description Full‑time schedule – 2nd shift with weekend availability. The role is part of our Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Adult Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services. CSG’s IDD/ASD Services offers a two‑week paid orientation, with mileage reimbursement provided for orientation‑related travel.
Develop relationships where those we support live, work, or in a community setting, to promote and ensure their emotional, physical and personal well‑being.
Assist adults in developing appropriate life skills to reach their highest level of potential, including interaction with others, cooking, housekeeping, money management, personal hygiene, and other skills in appropriate settings.
Support the individuals' preferences and ensure their interests are honored.
Actively search for opportunities for those you serve to experience life in their homes and communities based on their hobbies and interests, utilizing community resources to promote community integration, independence, and interdependence.
Help individuals reach their goals to be more independent by offering guidance, instruction, and role modeling.
Complete all required documentation, including electronic health record, in an accurate, timely, and professional manner.
Collaborate and cooperate with involved agencies, family members, and other service providers; participate in meetings and provide relevant information.
Provide support and assistance to individuals in arranging for medical care when responsible, and follow health‑care recommendations, including dietary guidelines.
Conduct fire drills and manage emergency situations during assigned work shifts, providing coverage during emergencies.
Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and transport individuals to appointments.
Allowed to administer medication and treatment under regulations.
Wage Information Base rate of pay $17 /hr for awake hours, with potential to earn up to $21 /hr depending on location and shift.
