Valleywise Health
Under the guidance of the Sr Clinical Engineer and supervision of the Director of Clinical Engineering, this position performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of typically non‑life support imaging and imaging‑related clinical equipment involved in the treatment, care, diagnosis, and monitoring of patients.

Hourly Pay Rate: $27.00 - $39.83
Education
Requires an Associate’s degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology;
or
must have a minimum of two (2) years of military training in clinical equipment or vocational training in electronics.
Experience
Prefer at least two (2) years of Imaging Engineer experience.
Specialized Training
Prefer successful completion of the manufacturer's equipment training service schools in one of the following: MRI, CT, Linear Accelerators, or Nuclear Medicine.
Certification / Licensure
Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.
CRES (Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist) certification by AAMI is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have knowledge of electronics troubleshooting; and safety precautions applicable to the operation and maintenance of clinical equipment.
Must be able to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions' work under limited supervision, work as a team, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
Must be proficient with prioritizing work assignments effectively in order to meet departmental goals and standards.
Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
